Major Project

We delivered a complete electrical infrastructure solution for the NZ Bus depot in Kilbirnie, helping power the move toward electric transport. The project was designed to be flexible and future-ready, providing a temporary but fully functional setup that can be relocated as needed. At its core, the system supports EV bus charging alongside essential site services like lighting and control systems.

Our scope included the installation of transformers, high-capacity main switchboards, distribution boards, and all associated cabling from mains and submains through to charger connections. We also installed EV charging units and pedestals, structured and control cabling, as well as site-wide LED lighting with smart controls. Everything was integrated with energy metering and monitoring systems, giving real-time visibility over performance and power usage. 

Built to NZ electrical standards, the setup is designed to run safely, efficiently, and with minimal fuss. With clear operating systems and a solid maintenance plan in place, it’s an easy-to-manage solution that keeps things running smoothly while supporting the growing demand for reliable EV charging infrastructure.
